I want to create a database on my website, have Dreamweaver 8 and use Startlogic as my webhosting service.?

I am a complete newbie to creating databases but just wanted some advice on getting pointed in the right direction.

Dump DW 8 and learn to hand code to web standards. The database set up is in the VDeck at Start Logic. Look through their Knowledge Base on how to set it up. I believe it is MySQL and PHP 5.0 that is available. The VDeck Control Panel has many legacy programs that can be installed from it including installing a forum package, PayPal, eCommerce, etc..
